COOL BLUE has lift off!

The COOL BLUE project is officially underway.

Project partners from Havhøst, s.Pro, Aktion Österbotten and the University of Gothenburg met in Berlin in May 2023 to get to know each other and make a plan for the next 3 years.

The COOL BLUE project was announced on social media and at the European Maritime Day in Brest later the same month.

The first stages of the project include making plans: how to communicate about the project; how to collect and share data; how to recruit communities to regenerative ocean farming and what we hope to achieve by the end of the project.

The website is now online in its most basic version, and will be further added to over the next 3 years.

The first regional kick-off for the project will be in Tjärnö Marine Laboratory in Sweden from 2-4 October. Further info: https://www.havhøst.dk/nordisk-netvaerkstraef-for-regenerativ-havdyrkning-og-akvakultur/

The second regional kick-off is planned at the Mission:Ocean Arena event in Gothenburg from 14.-16. November. Registration here:
